Tower Energy a leading residential home energy services company is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our growing service team. We are seeking an individual who is goal oriented, self-motivated, and has demonstrated leadership skills. The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for managing, developing and leading the HVAC service team and for coordinating HVAC services and installation of new equipment with our customers.

Desired Experience and Skills are:

  • 10+ Years within the HVAC Residential industry which includes oil and gas experience
  • 5+ Years’ experience in a supervisory/managerial role within the industry
  • Technical school diploma or certificate of completion; College degree, preferred
  • State of CT S1 or S3 License required
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, tools and materials with extensive technical skills within the trade
  • Strong Customer Service Skills
  • Ability & willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary to meet business and customer requirements
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages service team members. This includes but is not limited to: interviewing, and training employees; working with the service dispatcher to plan, assign, and direct work; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Coordinate team member activities to ensure individual and company goals are consistently achieved; ensure team members are working up to the highest standards in all aspects of their positions; conduct regular meetings with team members to review performance, quality, company policy and procedures and safety statistics
  • Hands-on management. Work in the field to assist team members and responds to emergencies
  • Perform job inspections, consults with customers, prepares estimates, and develops new business
  • Ensure team members provide superior customer service; conduct ride-a-longs with Service Technicians. Stride to exceed customer expectations
  • Manage vendors and parts inventory
  • Provide customer service support, respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner and resolves problems
  • Stay abreast of industry technological developments and convey this knowledge to team members
  • Develop, maintain, monitor and adhere to department budget
  • Interface effectively with other departments
  • Promote and support the company brand

Compensation:

We offer aggressive salary and incentive plans which will be paid based on personal experience, efficiency, productivity and overall revenue goals of the company. Potential to earn up to a six figure income.

We are seeking a candidate with an S-2 or D-2 license who has a minimum of five years’ experience working on oil and gas heating systems and AC system.
